Overview

NORC is the first online service in Central and Eastern Europe that offers panoramic images from the street level. These panoramic images enable virtual tours in the cities covered by NORC and are realized using a proprietary technology. The positioning of the panoramas on the map is set using a GPS system that acquires the real time coordinates of each point where an image has been captured. A correction system (DGPS) is used in order to control the correct positioning of the panoramas. Each panoramic image is obtained by assembling 10 photos simultaneously shot in each panorama.
