Values and Mission



Galen College of Nursing is different from other nursing schools. Why? Because Galen is focused solely on nursing education and the development of the next generation of Licensed Practical and Registered Nurses.

This single focus means there is no competition for resources – all of which are invested
into the education of our students and the ongoing professional development of our faculty.

Galen's well-designed classroom and clinical instruction prepares our graduates to be safe nursing practitioners possessing the knowledge, skills and compassion to succeed in today's healthcare environment.

Galen is nationally accredited, approved by state nursing boards, licensed by state boards
of education and eligible for Title IV funding programs provided by the United States Department of Education.
