Overview

From our beginning in 1969, through our transformation in the mid-1970s into vocational and career training centers, to where we are today as a leader in allied health education programs, one thing has permeated everything we doquality.

Ross Medical Education Center is named for our founder, J.M. Ross, who evolved the school from its initial location in Flint, Michigan, to include six other campuses throughout the state. In 1973, Ross ushered in a new leader, Howard J. Hulsman, who expanded the institution even further and clarified its focus on career training centers. In 2004, Mr. Hulsman handed the leadership of Ross off to a new teamChristine Ossenmacher, Paul Mitchell, and Richard Lockmanwho grew Ross to additional locations in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

Today, Ross is an established leader in the delivery of allied health certificate programs, with 19 locations in communities throughout Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. Each of our campuses operates independently, and is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.
