Overview

is a Japanese anime production enterprise and studio, founded on March 3, 1997. Presided by Tarō Maki, it is headquartered in Roppongi, Minato, Tokyo. It has produced numerous anime series, including Honey and Clover, Kino's Journey, Alien Nine, Onegai Teacher, Onegai Twins, Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed and Zettai Shōnen, and regularly works with A.C.G. T, who handles animation production on many of them. Genco also takes on production work for other studios as well, including JC Staff and Bandai Visual.
