Overview

Swan Lake Resort began as a small ruralIndianafarm that grew into a large poultry operation, and eventually into the resort that it is today.
On a promotional poultry trip toIllinois, founder Roy Swanson struck up a conversation with another poultry farmer who had recently built some golf holes on his unused property. Always intrigued by new ideasRoycontacted Al Humphrey, a local golf architect, and soon three holes for the family grew into a 9-hole, Par 3 eventually culminating into two 18-hole courses. Swan Lake Resort officially opened on Memorial Day weekend in 1969.

In 2000, Richard Klingler, the founder of Holiday Rambler based inWakarusa,Indiana, purchased Swan Lake Resort. He immediately initiated an extensive renovation of the resort and adjacent courses resulting in everything you will enjoy during your stay.
