Overview
Benefit Professor began as a software platform idea created by United 401k Plans Inc. and Letter Press of Utah, winning an Eddie Award in 2006. Since, several videos were designed, projects abandoned and United 401k Plans Inc. sold off the software and initial videos to Entrepreneur, Nathan Washington, of Park City, Utah in 2011. Washington is no stranger to the company as he was a consultant with United 401kPlans Inc. previously.
The acquisition happened because of Washington's vision of the future of Americans needing professional employee benefits education. His idea of an advanced video platform for professionals, customized video for employee plans and the launch of the ebook which will be the first of its kind, just shows how Washington's creative approach to providing a difficult subject matter in a simplistic format will impact the American employee.
