Summit Health is the parent organization to a network of non-profit healthcare providers including Chambersburg Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital, and more than 40 physician practices and other services.Summit Healths services include family physicians, surgeons, specialists, diagnostic services, a womens health center, a fitness center, 2 walk-in care centers, and 2 award-winning hospitals.
The health system is staffed by about 3,000 employees and supported by more than 1,000 volunteers and auxiliary members. Summit Health is Franklin Countys second largest employer.
Summit Healths annual estimated economic benefit to the region is more than $600 million according to the Hospital and Health System Association of Pennsylvania.
