OverviewFor more than a decade, GCE has been an established industry leader in the development of innovative technology solutions for Federal business enterprises. GCE first built enterprise financial management systems for the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration in the mid 2000s. Recognizing that the technology world was shifting from a "build-from-scratch" model to a services model, GCE invested in building a Federal financial management Cloud and welcomed its first customer, the U.S. Department of Labor in January of 2010. GCE's most recent customer the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission transitioned to the Cloud in October 2011. As a result of this work, GCE has significant expertise in the entire Federal financial management process, particularly the area of data management and integrity.
During the same time period, GCE also established its leadership in the procurement data community with the building and management of the Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG) General Services Administration. FPDS-NG is the authoritative source for Federal procurement spending data, collecting information in real-time from across the U.S. Government, including the Department of Defense.
