Work at Bright: Life & Culture
Bright is not a typical company, nor do we intend on becoming one. Our team thrives on innovation, making an impact, rewarding accomplishments, and improving one another. We work hard, have fun, and make sure every voice is heard because we recognize that anyone could have the next Bright idea. If you think you could fit in with a fun-loving group of creative and intelligent peers, we'd like to hear from you. We're always on the lookout for the "best of the best" to join our team!
Get to Know Us
Q: What's your zombie apocalypse plan?
A: If attacked with no warning by a large number of zombies, AT&T Park makes for good temporary shelter... plus it's next to the Bright office. If you can get out of San Francisco, take over a low-density planned community after all of the residents panic and leave; lots of room to grow your own food and unlikely to get a lot of zombie traffic. Suburbia: A nice boring place to rebuild society!
Q: What sets Bright apart from other employers?
A: We have a lot of fun being around each other and we've built the office to be a reflection of that; we welcome new people to come in and make it a place they like to be. Like our chalkboard walls, nothing has to be permanent and everyone leaves their mark. Oh sorry, was that too silly? I just like drawing on the walls.
Q: What's your 'Go-To' Karaoke song?
A: When I'm singing karaoke, classic 80's rock is always a popular choice. However, if you really want to get the ladies going, "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias never fails.
Q: What are three traits you would use to describe working at Bright?
A: Creativity, Fun, Fearless. At Bright, we challenge the status quo of what job hunting has been in the past. Everyday through our efforts and resolve, we bring this idea to life and make sure to have a great time while we do it... always keep one eye on the lookout for a flying NERF dart.
Q: What would your fictional profession be?
A: Elite jedi hobbit.
Q: What do you think would surprise people most about Bright?
A: The flexibility to define your own position. Working at Bright is like the buffet equivalent of jobs: you get to do what you really want to do.
